A SCHOOL WITH A VIEW: HELPING CHILDEN ACHIEVE A FUTURE OF ENDLESS POSSIBILITIES

Springdale School is a rural school in the Matamata Piako District. The School was established in 1915 and has created a long history of academic, cultural and sporting achievements.

We are a full primary school catering for years 0 - 8.  Springdale children make full use of our extensive grounds with cricket pitch, swimming pool, astro turf and extra-large sandpit and playground.

We are particularly proud of the way our children are so accepting of others, including new  comers the moment they arrive - going out of their way to make them feel welcome and part of  Springdale.

Springdale School is committed to the intent of the New Zealand Curriculum Document to develop “lifelong learners who are confident and creative, connected, and actively involve.”

At Springdale we aim to provide the most effective and engaging teaching possible whilst supporting our children to achieve to the highest of standards; inclusive of our values, academic achievement, social awareness and understanding, emotional intelligence and knowing ourselves as learners.
